Types of Bitumen Mixing Plants

Main parts of our bitumen mixing plants
The bitumen plant near me is composed of over 12 systems, including cold aggregate supply system, drying and burning system, dust removing system, filler supply system, bitumen supply system, mixing system, electric control system, etc. You can check detailed introduction of each part below.
Cold aggregate supply system
- 1.The belt feeder adopts frequency control device, which can automatically control and adjust the speed according to the capacity.
- 2.The titled belt conveyor with filter screen can prevent the bigger sized cold aggregate into the dryer drum. That can reduce heat loss and avoid congestion in the hot aggregate lifting and the vibrating screen.
- 3.The belt conveyor is equipped with safety protection device, which can quickly break under the emergency condition. Besides, it has deviation-rectifying and clean device.
Dryer drum
- 1. The outside of drum has heat preservation layer, which can reduce heat loss and ensure high thermal efficiency.
- 2. The drum and lifting blades all adopt high quality anti-weary steel materials with long service life.
- 3. Temperature measurement device installed on the outlet of drying drum can guarantee accurate hot aggregate temperature.
Burning system
- 1. For our bitumen batching plant, there are coal burner and oil burner to select. The coal burner can ignite automatically with less coal consumption, convenient, safe and reliable. The oil burner has wide fuel range
- 2. The equipped temperature-control device can ensure high drying efficiency.
- 3. Adoption of international brands has low failure rates, which reduce maintenance cost.
Hot aggregate lifting
- 1.High strength plate bucket elevator can discharge hot aggregate without returning.
- 2.Sealed design can ensure powder without overflowing.
- 3.The outlet with special structure can reduce abrasion and noise.
Dust collecting system
- 1. The water dust collecting and bag dust removing are combined to increase collecting degree.
- 2. The bag adopts nomax needle felt, which can proof water and oil.
- 3. Induced draft fan door can be adjusted automatically, which can keep the negative pressure of drying drum constant.
- 4. The recycled dust can be used in the production process, which reduce environment pollution and enhance material usability.
Filler supply system
- 1.The bottom of powder silo has arch broken device to prevent arching and ensure filler supply continuously and uniformly.
- 2.The recycled filler is stored intensively, which can reduce environment pollution.
- 3.The screw conveyor installs manual valve, which is convenient to maintain.
Bitumen supply system
- 1. A Bitumen tank is installed liquid level and temperature display device, which is convenient to operate.
- 2.The bitumen tank and pipes has insulating layer with small heat loss. It adopts quick heating technology, which is energy saving and efficient.
- 3. Complete automatic control system of conduction oil furnace can be operated independently.
- 4. The layout of bitumen supply system is compact and tidy. The pipes can be pre-installed and pressure tested, which can realize quick installation and connection on sites.
Pneumatic control system
- 1. Our bitumen production plant adopts international FESTO components with reliable performance and long life span.
- 2. The pipes adopt no-corrosive conduit with high performance air cleaner. No jam in the air source can prolong the service life of pneumatic components.
Electric control system
- 1. The control room adopts container design with easy transportation. The double-deck color steel wallboard has excellent insulating performance and good sealing quality.
- 2. The interior design of main control is comfortable, which creates office atmosphere.
- 3. The control system adopts international famous bands of computer, Omron or Schneider programmable controller and industrial Ethernet, EMERSON frequency converter, Mettler-Toledo weighing sensor etc. The components are all advanced and reliable, which can realize automatic, semi-automatic and manual control.
- 4. The motor is automatically controlled by PLC. Start-up and shut-down of motor is controlled by one button. It is convenient to operate with stable performance.
